I guess I have been too critical of how I rate Case Colors on Parker receivers ?https://www.csmcspecials.com/product_p/31062.htm

Assuming you have the correct link, they are definitely getting a little loose on their descriptions.

Well cool. That Trojan I bought this summer has 100 percent too

It's a simple typo folks... no cause for alarm. They simply put one-too-many zero's in the per-cent of case color remaining.

That price and description does not represent 10% case colors.

Dean your generous at 10%. New sales rep at CSMC since June, obviously does not know the difference between case color and casehardened.

The “perfect screws” statement is a stretch too.

5 percent case colors, 20 percent blue, wood marred. Because it is a 20 gauge, it should bring between $1500 and $2000. If it were a 12, it would be a $600 to $800 in today’s market.

Joe Graziano

Exactly. That price and description are not realistic. $1000 would be ok.

Looks like it has been restocked....

Based on that, EVERY Parker in my collection has at least 400% case colors!!

I handled that gun, even though I have no interest in Trojans. Apart from the scratch at the rear of the stock, it's an honest gun, and Dean is right, it is a typo. It's got lots of color in the usual protected areas. I'd say it's overpriced, but at 2750, it would be gone to in in-store buyer.
Any Trojan 20 I've seen lately is north of the $2k mark.

Hush, people! My Trojan 20 just doubled in value.

Joe Graziano

My Trojan 20 doesn’t have new case colors, it has “restored original” case colors at 1000%!

Tony is just screwing with us. Who says he doesn't appreciate a good joke?
