With the little information which you provided I'd give $100.

With detailed information and good photos of the entire gun and all the parts including the barrel flats and watertable your gun MAY be worth $2000. That would be for a near perfect gun. The value of your gun is probably between $100 and $2000, maybe more.

So... how about a little more information and photos, photos, photos!

Rich, The "Serialization Book" ends at 241788. So no luck there.Let me take a shot at this with a quess. Could this gun be a 3 1/2" chambered V grade gun? what is the legend on the left side of the locking lug closest to the breach? Also what number is stamped on the bottom of the lug closest to the breach. Picture sure would help here.

This can be a very interesting gun, maybe the last non ejector gun made, maybe a rare 32" 1/2 frame.

Rich, please tell us more about your gun.... beavertail or splinter forend? single or double triggers? straight grip or capped pistol grip? dog's head buttplate or something else? accurate description of condition? evidence of restocking or refinishing?

As you can see, there are a lot of factors that will affect value.

Thanks, Guys, I'll not see the gun again until this winter at which point I''ll get some good pictures and answer all of your questions. I do remember it's in really good condition , has double triggers, pistol grip, and a splinter fore end. I've shot it a few times. You'd never believe what at!

Let's just say it shot quite a few cats (all sizes of the spotted variety) small primates, and pigmy size antelope in it's lifetime.
