Four BHE 20 bores were delivered in October 1904. Very similar spec'd Parkers with serial numbers 128629, 128630, 128631 and 128632.
I would love to know if a PGCA member owns one of these guns?

All four of these Parker 20s were shipped to Salt Lake City Utah. I wonder what kind of hunting/shooting was going on there in 1904? Grouse, sage hens, quail and ducks would be starters I suppose. It just seems odd that a dealer would order 4 almost identical guns, same gauge, same barrel length, same barrel type, same grade, etc.

Possibly for the Bear River Duck Club. "The Millionaires Club"

Parker Brothers only produced 13 BHE 20 gauge guns with Damascus barrels. So of the 13, 4 of them were sent to the same dealer in Salt Lake City. I wonder how many of the 13 are still around. Interesting stuff!

I just missed out on a nice BHE 20 with 28 inch Damascus barrels. It was a nice gun but you can't own them all or so I have been told.

Western Arms & Sporting Goods Company in Salt Lake ordered these four BHE 20s. I couldn't find any information on this company via Google. Anyone have a Parker that letters as being shipped there?

One of those Damascus barrel BH-grade 20-gauges, pretty sure it was the second one 84040, passed through the Spokane Gun Club a few years back. Downside, or upside, depending on your point of view, it had been back to Remington in the late 1930s, fitted with steel barrels, ejectors and its straight grip stock appeared to have been cut and the butt checkered.

Dave 84040 isn't one of the serial numbers? The four numbers I am looking at are 128629, 128630, 128631 & 128632.

Gun # 84040 spent some time on the Parkers for Sale section of this forum a few years back.

Reggie, here is a copy (small) of the PGCA letter showing the original configuration. The gun was returned to Parker and Remington for upkeep, repair and modification several times over the years. It now sports 26" Vulcan barrels, automatic ejectors, single trigger and checkered butt. All factory work. The last factory work was done over 80 years ago. She is a sweet little gun, fun to shoot and I'm proud to be her current caretaker.

Still searching for Parker #s 128629, 128631 & 128632. Four BHE 20 gauge Damascus guns were shipped to the same dealer in Salt Lake City, Utah. Does anyone know the whereabouts of any of the three above?
