I have a VH with a Miller trigger - the earlier version with the selection on the safety tang.
Regarding the function of the safety - was it an option to order them as non-automatic or automatic reset? Is this a function that is independent of the operation of the Miller SST?
As I am not the fondest of non-auto triggers - is it possible to have them converted to an auto reset? BUT as my gun is a non-auto safety and the miller trigger works flawlessly...I just assume don't fix what isn't broken?

I have never seen a first generation Miller trigger with an automatic safety incorporated into the selector. Dan May could give you further information.

Bill and Drew - those are exactly the answers I was looking for. Thanks!
(pardon my ignorance of the Miller Triggers)

I've had or handled, perhaps, 20 Miller triggers over the last 40 years with the selector on the safety and none were automatic safeties.

Mine does not have an automatic safety either. I hate a single trigger. I'm not smart enough to opperate one.

There is not a lot of information out there on the Miller trigger - I was surprised. Did a lot of searching before posting here - I've only seen 2 or 3 and I never thought to experiment to see if they were automatic.
This is directly from Daniel May - he sent me a very in-depth and helpful email
Thank you for your inquiry. The Miller system does not allow for the reinstallation of the auto-safety mechanism once converted. The original safety jacket and all other internal safety parts are removed and the wood is milled away in order to make room for the single trigger unit.
I would recommend that you enjoy it as is. I am very glad to hear that it still functions flawlessly, our reputation remains intact!"
