You back up in Greenville?

I've got to admit, that is a pretty view over Moosehead! Was that this evening?

You obviously went out to din-din.

No Dean, That was about a week ago. Julie and I went to Blair Hill for her 65th. Long trip, 3 minutes up the hill, 2 back down. It's about 1 mile from the house.

Edgar, that is nice! When the remnants of the Hurricane came by here in Central New Hampshire early this week this is the sunset we had at my house.

I'd gladly trade these sunset vistas for the perpetual fog bank we're having here lately.

My wife and I have a tiny little beach house in Carpinteria CA.
Just south of Santa Barbara.

Pacific sunsets are unique, much like the sunsets I remember in summers with my mother’s family on Mull. Nothing but color, and the horizon.
Moosehead Lake lies between a chain of mountains on both the East and West side. However, sunsets are always gorgeous, because the road up the est side has elevations. The road up the west side is flatter, without elevation, so sunrise can only be colorful if you’re close to the water.
