This DHE #106787 32" Titanic Live Bird was fit with later set of barrels that have the overload proof marking. The gun books as a DH with 32" Titanic barrels. As you can see from the picture it now has ejectors. There is a Remington repair code of LK3 with JG encircled on the flats. The small 3 close to the ejector was confusing until I measured the chambers at 3 inches. Was this a typical making after the "Overload Proved" was adopted.

The small 3 in that position is for Grade-3. Grade-4 Parkers have a 4 in that position. Grade-5 Parkers have a 5 and so on.
J.G. in a circle is Jim Geary's mark. He was employed by Parker Bros. in Meriden as a barrel striker.

If you do not already have one, it would be worth getting a letter on this gun. While there are certain individual characteristics common to purpose-built pigeon and trap guns, every tight-choked 32" 12 gauge out there is not a 'Live Bird' gun.

You are right Kevin. I assumed a long barreled gun in that serial range and grade with no safety would be a live bird gun.
