Parker grade 7 at auction at May 19th auction

Just read of a grade 7 bringing $43 grand at auction but never heard anything here about it.This was on May 19th.Wooten and Wooten were the auctioneers.Any other info?

It was a 32” AA hammer gun. One of 5 built. The only one with 32” barrels. Straight geip stock. Stock was not original to the gun.

Is this the DuBray gun that was talked about here a while back; can't tell from that small picture? A fluid steel barrel AA and with 3 barrels.

I can't believe I did not know about this going to auction! I knew it was headed to auction and have been waiting for it. That gun IS my holy grail Parker (any of the 5 but this one more so), I would rather own that than any grade 9.

I would have wanted to be on it like a chicken on a worm. Someone got a great buy.

No. That is not Dubray’s gun.
You will have to wait til October on that one I beleive.

It was auctioned at a somewhat obscure auction house as compared to the largest houses we hear so much more about. One of our highly esteemed and respected members was savvy enough to be high bidder on this one. And I wish him a hearty congratulations!

As Brian says, the DuBray gun will auction in October. It is a 3-barrel set, not all 30 inch barrels and all fitted at the Meriden manufactory.

Actually one of those barrel sets is 32”. It was originally a 30” gun. The other 30” and 32” barrels were added on some of many documented returns to the factory.
