Why do I need these

Because I couldn’t resist a partner for VH 228041. They were both “born” in the same year and both are good condition survivors.

Jack,

Sweet Model A! Where did you pick it up? My wife's cousin, lives in Calgary, has a very similar Model A roadster.

This is my wife's cousin's roadster in Calgary. I assume he still has it. I last saw it in 2004. I can't recall the model year now. They sure are a lot of fun!

Drove 7 days round trip. Found it on an isolated ranch on Vancouver Island. It was an adventure. I hoped not to meet any traffic in the last few miles as my small motor home took up the whole road with large spruce and cedar making it impossible to turn around. Anyway survived. The loading day was about 110F. Had to pour a lot of water over my head and Tshirt. Owner couldn’t handle the heat. Good guy. Bought a few guns from him. He also likes Parker’s so that automatically makes him a good guy. Pic is road in to the ranch

Sounds like you had a fun adventure! Beautiful part of the pacific northwest...

Okay no pic. I was following him in as I would not likely have found the place. Once there it was a beautiful alpine valley with trout grouse and deer to be had from the porch. Well the trout were about 100 yard hike. Could have stayed quite easily.

I owned a ‘24 model T Tudor for a while. A tinker toy is right. It seemed like there was always something to do on that thing.

I always felt that the As were much more enjoyable than the Ts because of their overall better drivability.
