Photobucket pics redux

Pics that had disappeared when Photobucket went to charging for third party posting privileges have reappeared for some, if not all that haven't paid them for hosting their pics. Earlier today I visited the "Let's see some wood" thread and all the pics that were hosted on Photobucket were there, just a couple of weeks ago they weren't. I'm using Chrome as my browser.

Scrolled through 5 or 6 pgs of the thread and all photos are visible using Safari (browser) as well.

Photobucket sent me an email announcing "Your photos have been liberated!" and offering an ad-free site and 3rd party hosting for $1.99 a month or $19.99 a year. I'm tempted, but I wonder what they'll do to us if and when they get their members back?
