Page 30 of something. I found this quite by accident on an old computer in the basement. I have no idea where I might have gotten this image. Maybe some of you will know. It appears to complement the two images under the Technical Information Tab and may even be from the same original source. It could be added to that tab. When considered with the ejector patent information and the closed hammerless gun parts image, it does clarify the ejector system. Cheers, Jack

Here's what I know about the Parker ejector system. When you fire a shell and open the gun it gets kicked out of the gun.:biglaugh::biglaugh:

Yeah Rich but what if only one of two fired shotshells is ejected or if neither is ejected or if one ejects as it should and the other hangs for a bit and then ejects catching you by surprise or....... Now I guess the quick fix is a competent gun smith but I just like to understand and maybe tinker just so I can say Hey, I did that. That's my self directed therapy when I should just leave well enough alone. I got a junker VHE a while ago and I now plan to dismantle that system to fully understand and then FIX maybe a GHE that currently only ejects one of two fired shells. Too much fun for an old guy. When the ejector fails to eject it has become an extractor gun problem solved:rotf:

Time for a father/son chat. You are not doing your homework. I think it was Shakespeare who said a failed ejector does not an extractor become. What it becomes is a really difficult task to remove the expended shotshell from the chamber. Not impossible but definitely impedes getting your limit of roosters. But then I have seen some of your guns and understand why you wouldn't know about problems, whereas old dad here seems to mostly find junkers that can be brought back but not by someone else due to breaking the bank. That would leave no life savings for the kids - oh well.............

Jack, these ejector price page images on my pc are from the "Flying Geese" catalog. No comment on the extractor debate....:rotf:
