Just out of curiosity why did you schedule your shoot during the southern?

Something to do for those of us who can't make the Southern this year.

Dean as I recall the Addieville shoot was meant to be a warmup for Northerners going TO the Southern. Now very few of us New Englanders go to the Southern. Let me know if I’m wrong.

Publicly......?
Seriously though - you're right, but the weather hasn't been cooperative lately.

It was never meant to be a warm up for the Southern

Sorry Dave I thought it was advertised as a "tune-up" for the Southern.
I guess I was confused by your post last year:

This will be a great tune -up for the Southern event that takes place the following weekend.
Venue will be 100 targets Sporting Clays,Lunch, Five Stand if you please.
Also the posts for the 11th, 10th, 9th and 8th Annual Fun Shoots confused me.
But I haven't been around that long so maybe Shoots 1-7 were different.
I don't think I attended those.

George, That happened because I cut and pasted the post from past years and neglected to remove that part. My bad. Please don’t take me to court.

See what happens when technology takes over what with all this cut and paste stuff and memory. Speaking of memory I think the last time I did any cut and pasting was in second grade:whistle:
Either way at the end of the day were all out using our Parkers to shoot at targets. I'll miss a couple for all of you in Sanford:whistle::rotf:

Saturday's weather was the finest that anyone could remember and lots of fun was had by all. We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves and shot as one squad. There were eight guns: Dean and his grandson, Cam, Edgar, Russ, Jay, Dave, Larry, and Allan. No scoring was recorded but everyone seemed more or less pleased with their efforts.
