This is my first Parker Trojan I picked up a few weeks ago, a 20 gauge - 0 frame with 28” barrels IC/M. It is an earlier one with the rib extension made in 1913. LOP is 14” from front trigger, which is a bit short for me though I really bought it for my son. He is only 4 now so I will likely shoot it for several years on his behalf :)
I couldn’t make it to the shoot at Addieville yesterday, but had a chance to shoot some clays with it today. It’s a nice light gun and shot the RST 3/4oz. ultra-light shells extremely well. I haven't run across too many Trojans and haven't really given them the attention they deserve. This has definitely changed my perspective.

Brian, I am glad I am not the only one and it does feel good to buy one with your son in mind. When I saw this one I thought of my son immediately. I can't help but think of the shooting and hunting we will do when he is older.

That's a nice Parker!
Lacking only engraving, figured wood and the possibility of ejectors, it is as well made inside and out as most any of the graded Parkers.
Good choice and the perfect way to pass the torch.

I, too, am buying guns for my son. He's only 34 now, but in time, he'll be able to shoot them. He's kinda busy right now, flying multi-million dollar planes for his Uncle, but in time, he'll grow into a few I've picked out for him. It would appear he may have to share a few with his twin sister, so I may keep my eye for a few for her too.

I have absolutely no plans for the future of my Parkers. However, I think the PGCA and its members will take care of them.

Is that in the form of an endowment Bill?

My 20 ga trojan with 26 inch barrels goes to one of my grandsons, logan when i pass or when he reaches 12 yrs of age whichever comes first. My other parkers are willed to close friends that i regularly shoot skeet and bird hunt with.
