Kenny, I looked at that gun last Friday night at Cabela's in Scarborough, Maine. To me it looks to have been restocked as the buttplate is wrong for the serial number. I contacted the seller and he told me that it is indeed the gun I saw at Cabela's and he thanked me for pointing out the Remington "Parker" buttplate and that he would change his description on gunbroker. Cabela's had it listed at $21,999.
In my opinion it is a very well done restock and refinish possibly an early Turnbull job.

Bidding is up to $14K as of 10:55 PM :corn:

He still hasn't posted a note to his GB ad relative to the late buttplate but he continues to sing it's praises.

I have looked and looked at Parkers on line....I know pictures lie some times. But the stock just does not have that parker look or shine. It has that new wood look! The replaced plate also screems foul....A few years back befor the crash a VH 410 sold on g-broker at 14K...It had a perfect replaced stock....I would have not known but the owner told me! It looked as it should. It ended up in a gun shop locally and listed on g-broker with no mention of the replaced wood. It was a sweet 410 that I wished I could have perchased. )-: Thanks all Kenny Graft SXS ohio....

The auction timed out and the high bid was $15K but the reserve had not been met.

Oh!.... I thought it had ended.

Gee, I wonder what the reserve is.

It's gotta be something less than the asking price at Cabela's.... doesn't it
