All frame dimensions are posted in The Parker Story, page 527?

Unless I'm missing something, that table (Which I've referred to many times) only deals with dimensions relating to the frame and barrel mating surfaces, but doesn't address the dimensions of the frame/butt stock mating surfaces.

Gerald, those dims. are pretty close to an 0 frame, but not exact.

The stock is from a 12 ga I think, D grade 1925 and has been repaired and pined. Must be a 1 frame. Too small for a 1 1/2 frame, right?

Using a digital caliper (because it was handy, not because I think it's necessary to measure these in thous.) I get 1.63" on an 0 frame (1 5/8"), 1.70" on a 1 frame, and 1 .75" on a 1 1/2 frame.
Mating it up to a frame is going to give you more info, than simple (or overly detailed) measurements. Over time, wood swells with oil, and certainly a repair from a split head may measure greater than it was prior to being split, simply because it may not have been able to glue it, then squeeze it back to it's original dimension.
