How hard is it to find them in hammerless and hammer gun a 8 ga parker .The 10's are nice but 8's seem more special.O have found a place that sells reloading manuals for 25$.A forum where people take industrial hull and lathe turne the extra step off of them . Also found a site that sells regular plastic hull for standard a 8ga.I want to get one maybe feburary 2011 or around that time .I know a guy who can make a sxs 8 ga for 7-10k.But i really like parkers. Also I have never seen a american 8 gauge with the 4 1/4 chambers .I found everything need to load 8 ga shells so i know how to get 8 ga shells .also got the number of a british guy westely richards recommend for a source of loaded (ithink) shells

Puglisi Gun Emporium usually has 2 or 3 Parker 8 bores for sale. Gun Broker or Auction Arms also have them sometimes.

Milton ... Tom Armbrust in Johnsburg Illinois loads brand new, low pressure 8 gauge shells with the extra kink removed ... Phone: 815-385-0037 ... And his friend John Millar in Danville Washington makes and sells a die to remove the extra kink from the brass if you want to load your own shells. ... His number is: 250-442-6516

the ten ga. is a mighty gun and holds a special place in my hunting but the awsome 8 ga is awinner in my book. hope you find that 8 ga parker. they are a hoot to shoot. recoil is usally milder than 10 ga onacount of the weight of the 8 ga...tom armbrust can fix you up with the shells and also has a very good book called four and 8 bore. good shootin charlie

Thanks,Yes precision reloading sells his guide for 4ga 8 ga reloading.
Can you use small amounts of smokeless powder for reloading ?.Has anyone here took there 8 ga to england to waterfowl?.SO the extra step can be resized instead of machined off ? .precision reloading has hull once fired 50 cent and new clear winchesters for 2$ per hull but wads are like 15$ for 250 so you get more wads than hulls :rotf:.Yes i love a 8 ga and dont even have one . If i had it my way i would be carrying a westely richards droplock 8 ga with 40" barrels with black cherry stock-forend.they got 2 or more on build now .I wish connecticutshotgun mfg would let me order 8 ga or atleast a 10 but no. Custom just doesnt mean the same anymore

Our member Destry Hoffard carries his eight gauge fluid steel hammerless Churchill to England to shoot waterfowl. He is a world traveller on a budget, my hero as a hunter of migratory fowl. His Churchill is one of the rarest of the rare of eight bores.
