Can't read serial number well but if it is 38696, cut from 30" to 26" according to book, grade 0. What is the number and do they look cut? Probably cylinder and cylinder; $500 +/-.

If that is the correct number the Parker Serialization book shows it left as a 30".

thanks a bunch for your time . so , evidently these bbl are shortened . i did read in the blue book (i think) that some of these guns were made with 26 " cyl/cyl bores, and there was a premium added to value .

Mills Morrison

IMHO the barrels have been shortened

Dean Romig

Seems a bit high to me. I would not pay that for it.

Notice I said $500 +/-. The forend looks nice with good checkering. If the stock is just as good, the bores are good, and it would clean up and one wanted a hammer rabbit or bird gun, then it may fit the bill for someone. I would not go that much for it either, but it depended upon what someone wanted. Checkering may be recut. Not the best job but better than being completely worn out.
