I just picked up a 12 gauge fishtail lever hammer gun with 32" barrels. Are the 32" barrels less common? Gun was made in 1893. It seems that I see many more 28" and 30" guns.

Not in my safe they aren't
You will see 32" on 10's and 12's fairly often
Rare on small bores I think

Less common, but not rare. 30" barrels are seen on most 12 gauges, in my experience at least

I would have to agree. I have several 10's with 32" barrel but I rarely see a 32 inch 12 gauge. I won't call them "rare" but I think in the very least they are less common or encountered.:)

32" barrels on 16's and 20's are much harder to find that 10's and 12's.

The first Parker I ever bought was a VH 12 with 32 and 26 inch barrels and I still have it. I was also 35 yrs. old and now I'm 73 and it is my favorite one. Thomas

Total production by barrel length, separated by type of action and other features, is available in the Serialization Book. My SB is packed away at this time so I can't look it up.

I have a grade 1 16ga TL hammer gun with 32 inch barrels. I haven't seen many of them but you can find them. The fun is in the search.

Maybe someone on here could look up the information in the SB. Mine is not available or I would have looked it up.
