Charlie,
I have owned, none Parker, guns with 2 1/2", 2 3/4" and 2 7/8" chambers. The earliest guns started with 2 1/2". I believe this to have been Parker's evolution as well.

The first Parker 28 gauge guns were 2 1/2"
94373 is the earliest I could find scanning the serialization book before my eyes gave up.

RST makes them. They are very nice to shoot and they smash clays and bring down grouse and woodcock with authority.
