Attached are photos of a 10 gauge lifter case I just completed. Included in the case are Parker loading tools and 2 5/8" "Track of the Wolf" brand brass cartridges. The antique gun case was purchased from Canada in need of a lot of work. It was purchased mainly because the 32" barrels fit perfectly in it. Click on photos to enlarge.

Very, very nicely done!

What is that wooden shafted thing with the bone head next to the primer tin?

Thanks, Dean! The wooden shaft tool is one I made from a 1/4" hard wood dowel and a handle I had from another antique gun case. I made the tool so I could push on the trip to release spring tension and lower the under-lifter. I thought this would be the correct way to store the gun.

You did an outstanding job on that. It reminds me of the cased guns I've seen at the PGCA HOF banquets. I bet now you don't want to dirty up those brass shells by firing them.

Thanks for your kind words Mike. I am planning on loading the shells and using the gun for dove and maybe even some waterfowl once I buy some Bismuth shot.

As a hammer gun nut, I got to tell you that is a fine case and gun too! Gary

Thanks Gary. I too am drawn to the hammer guns. The guns are special and the old cases enhance their presentation.
