Looking through the listings this morning. I've had 3 scam warnings from them, so I just look. Saw a PH 16.."O" Frame..$550 !!...The gun looked familiar. Went to Gunbroker..There it was..same gun..same picture...listed by a frequent seller on Gunbroker..His price $5000..I flagged it as scam, and Emailed Armslist. Don't think I would ever buy from that site..jv...

Armslist is nothing but scams. There is no point in even looking on there.

I agree with Brian

Every gun I tried to look at there was a scam, After I few tries I gave up

Between the collector boards like Parker and Fox. And now the Smith board as well
Plus the established sites like gunbroker or gunsinternational to look on

Why bother with the risk

For what it's worth, I bought a 75%+, 30" 20 ga. Sterlingworth on Armslist a few years ago. I did'nt steal it but then again find me another 30" 20ga. Fox in that condition. You just have to have your radar operational and if you can call the seller even better. We met halfway- He came out of Va. , I came out of Md. and he was a really decent guy. He was willing to meet me in a very public place so we both felt comfortable with the deal. I never have and never will buy a gun over the internet unless it is a recognized dealer.

I quit going to the armslist site a couple of years ago when I figured out it was a great place to pick-up computer viruses.
