I have recently received my PHE 20 with 32" barrels back from having it refurbished. I want to thank Mitch Schultz from Gunsmithing Limited in Southport CT for doing a superb job!

Very nice job. I'm sure you already know that is a very rare configuration.

You did the right thing in having the gun reconditioned, it looks great. I love my 32 inch 20.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. The job was beyond my expectations. This is a 0 frame 20. The left barrel is choked full and the right Improved cylinder. The most amazing part was the wood! When the gunsmith pulled the stock form his "magic bath" he immediately called me to say, wait till you see how beautiful the wood is! The person that ordered this gun surely wanted figured wood. The figure on this particular stock has such a resemblance to curly maple. It's amazing. the pictures do not do it justice.

That kind of striping in the wood is commonly referred to as "fiddle back" and it's easy to see why. That piece of walnut would be perfectly at home on a Stradovarius!
