Taken yesterday at the height of the storm system coming through Vt's Northeast Kingdom.
Pictures of this super cell taken less than 5 minutes apart.
This is from the front door of "Grouse Camp"

Dean, that is scary looking stuff:shock: Especially here in the Northeast. Hope there was no damage to camp.

I wish I could go to "Grouse Camp" in the summer. I am soooo tired of going to work. It lloks beautiful there, bet that same picture in the fall would be spectacular.
Maybe you should have challenged Mother Nature by running into the eye of the storm waving a 16 hammer gun.

Maybe the UP. Actually, any place in the fall with a Parker in hand, a good bird dog( a setter in my dreams), and some birds to hunt is where I want to be.

We had a few tornado's here in Maine yesterday and last night. One right in the middle of Sebago lake that was pretty big! A rarity here in Maine...

Bob, have you seen any pictures of it?
How about in Denmark?
I've told you about my friend who lives there - I left a message to him asking how he weathered the violent weather but he hasn't replied yet....

There are pictures Dean on line that others showed me. It made the news this morning. Denmark came out ok from what I have heard and seen. I watched a few start to form and then dissipate. Never seen anything like it!

You haven't been to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan:rotf:
Harold I was at Grouse Camp this weekend. Just got home to beat the holiday traffic. Lots of rain all summer, the ditch in front of the house resembles a trout stream:eek:

A mile up the road from Grouse Camp out on Fink's Hill above the beaver pond down at the Old Hall Place (just fieldstone foundations now) on the opening morning of deer season 2003 at sunrise, I cast my Dad's ashes to the gentle breezes from his favorite promontory. This view is down the same valley toward New Hampshire's White Mountains.
