A friend with a Trojan 16 No. 1 frame disassembled in a box...wants to find a stock duplicating service that has a pattern for a straight stock/forend to fit his
metal. On line search has been fruitless. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. PS...enjoyed watching Parker win The Cup in Sanford last month!

keep in mind that if the pattern stock is not the original or at least known to be compatible with the action being fitted to it, then you run the chance of getting into trouble on it. Yes, there is that much variation from gun to gun.

Thank you very much for that information...I incorrectly assumed that Trojan 16 No. 1 frame metal would not vary much....this forum is a truly invaluable resource...

There would not be much of an issue with the forend.

If you need a semi-inletted forend for it, get in touch with me. I have a bunch on hand.

Alan,
You know better than to ask me a thing like that.

I'll take that as a No.
