Interesting barrel flat markings

This week , I looked at what appears to be a genuine grade 2 Skeet gun, Serial 239,4xx for a new member of the PGCA to ascertain a ball park value. He has a great story on how he acquired the gun and will let him tell it if he wants.

In my observations the barrel flats have some marking new to me. We took pictures with the idea that one of the more learned members will shed some light on them.

Of particular interest is the "D" and "F" by the rear lug.

The D and F probably indicate the barrels were manufactured in September of 1937 under Remington ownership.

We know that the gun is a GHE 12 gauge built on the 1 1/2-Frame size and it has Parker Special Steel barrels with a pre-struck weight of 3 lbs., 7 oz.

The P and G indicate June of 1938 but it is not followed by a 3 which would indicate a repair or service.
Judging by the earlier code I would suspect that the gun was finished in June of '38 ( my speculation only).

The three other stamps are among those which the meaning of is unknown to the Parker collecting community.

I assume it had the long beavertail forend? What about the butt treatment?

Butt is checkered with no plate. Stock is straight.
