New DH 12 gauge with a name on the badge?

Just for the sake of trying I'm going to ask all of you about my newest DH acquisition. I recently bought a DH 12 gauge that has had a beautiful restoration done at some point. I have contacted Turnbull to see if they have any records but I also have a name ingraved on the badge and the curious collector in me wonders, who..where..and when. The name inscribed appears to be F.G. Moulton however my interpretation of old script could be mistaken. The serial number is 124037.
With this wide world of connections online I thought it would be worth seeing if anyone knows anything about this gun.

If these old Parkers could just tell their story! Get a letter from our historian. It will tell you part of it's history.

your gun dates to 1904...this link to the sporting life from 1909 shows a H. B. Moulton from Montpelier taking 2nd place in the Ithaca club handicap.
He missed out on the first place prize of a box of cigars.

The gun was not done by turnbull.

Some searching on the internet can maybe turn up some info on the name. I had a similar case with a Sauer sporting rifle i own. The name engraved in the crest was that of a US Congressman and member of the Pillsbury bakery family. You never know what you will find.

Keep looking Philip, H.B. Is not the same guy.
Of course, a research letter just might confirm who the gun was made for. F.G. Moulton may even have been engraved at a later date.

The scroll work on the oval does not look "Parker". So it may
Not have been done when the gun was new.
