Can anyone identify this ? What's it worth and how good a gun is it?

Be very careful of the single trigger, they were not known for their single triggers

You would be much better off with the AYA that Gerry just listed on this board. JMHO

Actually, it's an Arrieta 557. For years the entry level offering that was discontinued about 3 years ago. IMHO, at $3995.00 and given today's market for used Spanish 12 gauges, they will have to look long and hard to find the right buyer for that gun -- they would have a better chance of finding him if it were priced at about $2500.00.

Strange, AYA #2s that I retailed at $2600 several years ago now retail for $8500, but used Arriettas are overpriced at $3995. Maybe we're waiting for the market to reverse itself.

It's doubtful you'll find any used 12-ga. AyA No. 2s with 27" bbls and a single trigger selling for anywhere near $3995.00 either.
