Spring Southern Side By Side April 28-30th

I cant believe we're already talking about the Spring Southern Side by Side and Parker / LC Smith Challenge. This year, the PGCA will again have a large room block at the Hampton Inn in Sanford, NC. I have arranged for the same rates as last year - $99 / night for PGCA members. If you recall, the hotel sells out and I would recommend calling to book your rooms well in advance.

This is also the weekend of the Parker Gun Foundation Hall of Fame Dinner where we will induct 3 new members this year. The dinner always has an extraordinary display of Parker Guns and memorabilia.
Friday night the 28th is the date.

The event always sells out and only 75 tickets are made available.

I've made my reservation at the Hampton Inn & hope that I'll be able to come. My daughter, Lisha, is battling brain cancer & right now is doing great after two surgeries at Duke and umpteen chemo treatments. Our church, Union Lutheran, is sponsoring a benefit fishing tournament that weekend to help her with the expenses, but Lisha told me to go to the Southern (she knows how much I look forward to it). Your prayers are requested and welcome........George

Don't forget you can get in some early shooting on Thursday and Friday AM at Drakes Landing. Get that shooting eye sharpened up after a long winter break:)

THANK YOU ! Dean, Eric,, Mills and Jim. It seems that I'm a month ahead of myself. It must be old age creeping in. My son just informed me that the fishing tournament for Lisha is tomorrow April 25th. and so, God willing, I'll be able to attend the Southern after all. I hope to see you all there.
