This is the gun that I've been working on with Dan Rossiter and Mr. Gournet for the better part of 3 years. Some of you folks saw it in the white last June at the NE SXS. It's now been finished. First test drive was this morning. Its a sweet handling thing. 6 lb 4 oz. Exact Copy of the first 20 gauge D grade and I got the engraving pattern from the 1995 Double Gun Journal. Nice to get it finally in the field. Stock is Turkish Feather Crotch that I got from a fellow who was going to restock a Model 21 and then sold the gun instead.

And the pup that made it all possible who turned 2 last week. My Lew Sophie. :)

Fine old Fox and the setter looks a lot like the mate to one I had many years ago. She was from the Morning Star line. We called her Patches. She was sure something.
