I'm out of town, but found 119724 in a gun shop where I was passing through. It's a nice VH with that gorgeous original patina that we love. Grip cap and dogs head butt plate all in place with all screws good, although moderately timed. Barrels appear uncut. Very attractive price.
I put it on hold, but can anybody help me with the basics on its original configuration, as I am still on the road.....?
Thanks so much!!

Thanks, Jim. I really appreciate the comeback. I checked the website and it does appear that factory records exist, so I may just order the letter.
Thanks,
Dave

No concerns, really. Just wanted to verify the gun's original specifications against its current configuration. I am on the road, and don't have access to my book, although Jim verified that this gun is not in the book anyway. The numbers match and it has 30" barrels, so I think it's good to go. It's in great shape, tight on face. It will probably need a little buttstock work, but that's very do-able, with some of the terrific craftsmen that we know of through the forum.
Thanks for asking.
