Hey!

Like a lot of others I have inherited this piece from my grandfather. This gun along with a couple others have been in a closet for 30 years. My grandfather passed away when I was young and didn't really know him. My mother told me six or so years ago that the guns were mine and I eventually went out and purchased a safe to put them in. That was four years ago and the safe hadn't been opened again until a couple days ago!

Finally getting around to researching what each gun is and possible directions I should take with each gun. I don't currently have any plans to sell them but I would like to try and establish some values for insurance purposes.

I have very little gun knowledge but here is what I can determine from browsing the site and some barely legible 40 year old notes!

Parker 12 Gauge
163615
VH

I noticed another "V" below the watertable that isn't referenced on the technical information page.

One of the barrels "2" has some slighting pitting.

Thanks again for any info on this gun

Good for you Kipp!

Looks to be a nice VH shooter with very decent condition. Two sets of factory installed barrels makes it a bit unusual and the Parker Single Trigger makes it 'unusual' X2.

What are the measurements of the barrels... or rather, the length of them?

Welcome aboard. How nice it would be if everyone included such good pictures with their posts.

Welcome Kipp.
What a great VH. I can only wish I had a family Parker. It looks like records are available for your gun. Please consider join PGCA as a member and getting a letter.
Doing the research is only 2nd to shooting these old guns when it comes to enjoying them.

Dean - See attached pictures (not sure why they are inverted), if this is where I am supposed to measure them from then they are right at 28"

Phil - planning on joining and am looking foward to what information is out there

Dave - Thanks!
