I am wondering if anyone has used Bill Schwarz for redoing Damascus and steel barrels? I am looking at sending him possibly some work. Please feel free to PM me if you can share any information on his work.
Merry Christmas Phil

Over the past 20 years I have used the services of Bill Schwarz on five or six occasions for general repair and restoration work on several Parker, L. C> Smith and Fox doubles and have always been well pleased with his work. I'm not sure if he does the case color work on site or sends it out but it has been well done. I have no hesitation in recommending Bill based on my experiences.

He does case color on site. Or should I say he did. Restored a very worn out VH 12 gauge for me. Price was more then fair. Turn around time will be an issue, but it is for all of them.

No, but I know who does, except he only does it for recommended customers not just anybody. lol

Bill has done some work for me. Cleaning and repair without any problems. Turn around was short as I remember. He took real care with screws. That I do appreciate. Seems to me that he told me he didn't do the internet back then. That may have changed. Enjoyed the visits with him.

He's really good and a super guy. I think his turnaround time is has gotten a bit longer, but that seems to be the case with the good ones.
