What type of damascus pattern is this? What is the name of this pattern? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Josh, I think its more a laminated composite rather than Damascus. Let's see what Drew says.

and believe they are the same as this 1878 Grade 4 Lifter and called "Lutticher Toncin"; a Herringbone variant

We've had this discussion off and on in the past regarding similar barrels which were labeled "Laminated Steel'
BTW: I'll have a table in Vegas near you Parker fellas and would be happy to 'read' patterns for anyone.

So is it a Parker, and what grade please?

Definitely Laminated of some sort Josh - What make of gun is it on? What year of manufacture or if a Parker, serial number range?
If it is a Parker in the late 1870's - early 1880's look for a P stamped where the barrel steel is normally stamped.
However, it looks to me more like the Laminated Steel that Parker Bros imported beginning in the late 1880's into the late 1890's.

So, the example Josh has pictured looks most like Greener's "Silver Steel."

This is Laminated Steel; Top: c. 1874 Lifter marked "Laminated Steel"; each tube is stamped 'L' ahead of the barrel flats.
Bottom: c. 1870s W&C Scott hammer gun.
Refinished by Brad Bachelder.

Drew can correct me if I'm wrong on this.
I think your barrels look a lot like these tubes on a GH-12 Parker I have. These barrels are marked Damascus but they are different from the normal pattern seen on grade 2 hammerless guns. They also have a Birmingham provisional proof mark on them & were probably English in source. You might look yours over for a proof mark.
The Birmingham proof mark is on the right tube in the bottom picture.

Definitely Laminated Steel Paul, and remarkable similar to "Silver Steel". I can't image Greener would have let a pair of his proprietary tubes out of the shop!
They may actually be "English machine-forged 3 rod Laminated steel" which was the winner of the Phase 1 test of the Birmingham Proof House Trial.

Thanks, All. If anything, I think it looks most like the Greener's Silver Steel but still not quite a dead match.

1879? That pattern looks very familiar!
As well it should, having a P stamped on the forward end of the right barrel flat where we would otherwise expect to see the stamp for the type of barrel steel.
