Why are Forum Associates allowed to post and not show their real names. When I right click on a member who posts, their real name comes up, but sometimes when I right click on a Forum Associate's name just that forum name comes up, why?

Why is there anonymity for non-members?

I thought that providing a real name is a requirement of this forum.

How you gonna determine a real name from a phony, except when obvious, when not required to register and pay dues with Mary?

Look at some of the forum associates that have posted lately and click on their screen name and some show their real (yes maybe maybe not) name others just show their screen name. So I was just wondering why.....

When I first joined, I wasn't aware of the real name requirement. One of the mods informed me and I made the change.

As a fellow on TV used to say "verrrrry interrrresting..."
So, I tried clicking on a few Associate names. And more often than not, the real name I came up with was "Troll."

Don't want this place to become like another forum I could mention

Mills, that's why I was asking, and thanks for saying that, that's what I meant to say.

I can't speak for others, but some of us Forum Members go way back with the PGCA. Back in the old days, I had a nom de net, but have always been pretty transparent as to who I am.
Some years back I suffered some serious trauma in my life, and let all magazine subscriptions, and memberships go away. Hope to one day be back on track, financially.

I guess I took our rules too literally and I use my real name. You don't have to double click to see who I am.

I must be one of those malingerers. Very cryptic too.

Todd, you have always been transparent in who you are, I mean heck you use your real name, others unlike you, use a screen name and use that screen name in their user information so we really don't know who we are talking to, but if you are a Parker member you have to show your real name in the user information section.
