Hello, I am new to this forum and would appreciate any help you can provide. I have a hammerless 12 ga. probably a VHE or 0 grade. The stock on the underside has what looks like a sheriffs badge about 1/2" x 1/2" fitted very well into the stock. It is curved perfect and the pins that hold it in are barely detectable. Has anyone ever heard of guns being made for Sheriffs or Marshalls with an emblem like this? The serial number is 98879 and I was also wondering how to determine its value because I do want to sel it.
Thanks

Jim - The shield under the butt stock was standard on all V (0), P (1), and G (2) grade hammerless Parker shotguns. I think its fair to say that the majority of Parkers have one. Value is always a function of condition. If you can post some pictures of your gun here, there are many people that can offer well educated opinions on value. There are several gun auction web sites on which you can sell your Parker, but it can't be sold (or bought) here. Good luck selling it
