Good morning.
Does anyone know what data to use for this hull. The only Win hulls I'm use to is AA. It has a goldish insert in the bottom. They are about 15 years old.

Thanks
Bill

Data may be the same as the AA hull, but you may have a rough time with the six point crimp. I would be throwing them away and using the AA hulls.

They look like Winchester Polyformed case with plastic basewad. They are not AA hulls and do not use the same reloading data. Also they are 6 pt crimp as already noted in last post. You can find reloading data in some older Winchester books or GOOGLE it.

Trash them and stay with the great gold standard WWAA.

Thanks for the helps gentlemen. I believe James is correct. Polyform. There is a 7500psi 7/8 load with rxp and universal that will be just right. Load once and discard. I hate throwing away hulls. That's what happens when you are raised poor. :)

There really should be nothing wrong with 6 point hulls. I reload just 12ga, but I've ground out the ribs with a Dremal tool in the plastic start crimp so 6 or 8 point hulls can be used without changing dies.

Hodgdons' web site has data for those hulls . Why would the six point crimp be a problem ?? Unless you don't have the correct crimp starter.
