SAVE THE DATE !!!!!!

The PGCA's 2017 Annual meeting will be held in conjunction with the Las Vegas Antique Arms show January 20-22 2017 at the Westgate Resort and Casino.

The PGCA will have a block of 20 tables, 18 of which will be available for member displays/sales at the show for a discounted rate.

The PGCA banquet and silent auction will be held Friday January 20th at the Westgate Resort. The evening promises to be a fun event!

The PGCA will be joining Beinfeld Production's room block at the Westgate. A special promotional rate for hotel rooms has been set up for the show.

Additional information on all of the above is forthcoming.

The events committee is currently seeking several west coast based volunteers to help with a few of the logistics related to the meeting. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to me at your earliest convenience. I can be reached at JLoew@jamesdjulia.com

Viva Las Vegas! See y'all in January.

How do we go about getting a room? Is there a need to act quick?

Hotel arrangements for the annual meeting are as follows:

The PGCA is joining the Beinfeld Productions block for group room rates for the show at the Westgate Resort. Westgate is a nice hotel and a huge step up from the Riviera.

To book your room, follow the link here:

https://aws.passkey.com/event/14888714/owner/3453/landing

The hotel offers three levels are rooms - they are priced at $75 per night for a base room, $95 per night for the mid-level rooms, and $165 per night for the Concierge level rooms. I stayed at the mid-level room last year and found it to be quite satisfactory.

If booking separately, please mention the code "SAA7R" for the group room rate. We suggest booking your rooms (a 50% refundable deposit is required at the time of booking) sooner rather than later as the hotel will sell out.

Additional table and banquet info is forthcoming! Viva Las Vegas!

If you are a table holder (PGCA table) will you be able display guns for sale?? If yes, must they be Parkers?? Can two members split a table? Thanks Craig

Craig

You absolutely can sell guns with your table. You can split the table with a friend, just be sure to tell Richard Dow, who is coordinating the tables, your plans since we need to coordinate the name badges with the show promoter. We ask that the table be mainly Parker material, however if a "Fox gets in the henhouse"...??? I do hope you will join us and purchase a table to display some of your fine Parkers.

Hi Josh,
I have looked high and low, but can't find times for the banquet, silent auction, and any other PGCA activities. The flight I'm looking at arrives at 3:00 on Friday and I don't want to miss any of these. Can you steer me toward the schedule of events and where to purchase a banquet ticket? I understand they won't be selling tickets at the door. I've never attended any PGCA event, but would like to try this one; just need a little guidance for my planning. Thanks, Dennis

Time is running out gentlemen - your table reservations must be made very soon as we need to set a deadline (soon to be announced).

Tables are available for the sale of guns to PGCA Members at $275 (this is a $100 savings from the $375 charged by the promoter to everyone else).

Tables are also available for display only to PGCA Members for only $175 (this is a savings of $100 from the $275 normally charged by the promoter to everyone else).

Members in the West have always wanted an Annual Meeting to be held in the West and here is your opportunity to take full advantage of the Las Vegas Antique Arms Show venue.

This will be the first PGCA meeting that I will attend. So I have a few questions.

I would like to purchase tickets for the banquet, I know I read a posting some where that gave the details but I can not seem to locate it.

What is the difference between a display table and a Sale table? Is it simply you can not sell at a display table?

If I bring my favorite Parker is it displayed at the Parker tables, or just the banquet? Who mans the Parker tables?

Thanks in advance for any information.

I cant believe that Brad Pitt wants to talk about his Parker sub-gauge collection.

Phil,

Make out a check to "PGCA" and mail it to Dave Suponski, 266 Clover St., Stratford, CT 06614. The cost is $75.00 per ticket.

My assumption is that any PGCA member can display their gun/guns at the PGCA's display tables as long as there is an empty slot and I assume that the display tables are for display only. If you buy a "for sale" table, then you can sell guns at your table.

I don't know if anyone is assigned to "man" the PGCA tables, it's probably a place where fellow members can congregate. I'm just hoping there will be an empty chair that I can take a load off my feet! If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone in charge can set the record straight.

It will be nice to meet some of the guys from the west coast that I've corresponded to or talked to over the years but have never met.

Are Banquet tickets still available?

I originally was going to share a display table, but that fell through, so now I have a whole table. The question arises, where do we get our show badges and our table assignments? Who is collecting the names we want for our table badges so they can be made ahead of time and we don't have to stand in line there to have the badges made?

Michael, send Dave Suponski a PM. He handles the banquet.

The banquet is shaping up! Sounds like we'll have around 70 attendees! Don't forget to bring out your favorite Parker for the People's Choice display at the banquet next Friday evening!
