I recently purchased an old over/under percussion long gun and I am trying to identify the maker and a little history about it. I have not be very successful so far and though maybe someone on the forum may have seen it before.
This old rifle/shotgun in an over/under with a rifle barrel on top that measures .038 and the under barrel measures .028. On the top of the barrel is marked
A. Parker and underneath that is Ludlow, Vt. It has a brass trigger guard with double triggers and a brass butt plate and patch holder on the side of the stock.
The cleaning rod fits down the right side between the barrels. It has an adjustable rear sight and a dovetail front site. The side plates have engravings on both.
There are no other marks that I can find on the gun.
Any information would be very appreciated and helpful.
