Well I just got my first LC Smith ,it's a 20ga 28" Ideal grade ,made in 1919 ,it has a Curtis Forend Fastner ,2 1/2 chambers ,chokes are full at .028 & .027 ,at 6 lbs 2 oz its feels great. Can't wait to shoot her but not today ,snow ,ice and rain starting to fall.

Dats nice!!!! Light for a L.C. (-: I am waiting for a hi condition field grade 16 28" M/F I think I bought it very right!, its coming from federalist state of California so it will be a few more days before it gets to Ohio.

At one time I had an Ideal grade two barrel set in 20ga. Nice gun congrats.

My only Ideal is an 11 pound ten gauge pigeon gun.

The gun shop just down the street from me had a 20 ga. Trap Grade. What a sweet handling gun. He had it for sale in his shop for a couple of years. He finally put it on gunbroker and it was gone in two weeks.

And my Ideal Damascus 10 is in the "lightweight class" weighing in a 8.13 oz.
I only have two 20 gauges but I shoot my Field grade LC 20 gauge the best.
