Let's pretend you're out stalking deer and you came upon this scene of some whitetail deer bedded down sunning themselves . . . how many can you find? It will take some keen eyes to come up with the correct answer. An ATTABOY! will be given out for the first correct answer.

An ATTABOY! and congratulations goes out to Rick by correctly guessing six.

Well I guess Rick won with his guess....

But mine was not a "guess"..... I knew exactly how many deer were bedded there. :crying:

Well Dean, while you were cranking up your Vari-X III Rick fired off the first shot and got lucky. Given his hair trigger guess, I've turned it over to the judges whom are considering withdrawing his ATTABOY! and rewarding it to you instead. Stay tuned for their decision . . .

Well, it did not take long for the judges to come up with their decision, given Rick's admission. The judges have stated that they respect him for that. In light of this, they (the judges) have decided Rick can keep his ATTABOY! award based on his honesty and are also offering an ATTABOY! award to Dean for correctly answering. Congratulations gentlemen!

One must be a really keen observer and an experienced woodsman to pick out #6 as about the only thing you can see are one of her eyes and a part of one of her ears. Kudos go out to Dean and all you other keen observers that found her!

I saw 6 but I shot one and by the time I got her tagged, dressed and skidded out to the truck to report that there were only 5 now it was to late:whistle:

Greg,
I think I see 6 as well but thought there were two at your #5 and for the life of me can't pick out anything at your #6. Can you help me out by putting an arrow to the #6 deer? Thanks, this was fun.

Thanks Greg, I only saw 3 and I thought there was one at 6

I see #6 now. That is the one I missed. It is looking to the left with it's rear
towards us. A glass helped see it.

The nose of the deer is just to the left of the point of the arrow, her eye is just above the point. How about that arrow, you like? Bonus question: Where have you seen a similar looking arrow and what specifically does it remind you of?

Greg remember some of us have a red/green color deficiency, i.e. can't see those "red" numbers.. Don't worry had my wife point them out to me as I only counted five too.

Well Eric, you should look for the GREEN ones. :rotf:

Any of you Students-of-all-things-Parker wanna take a crack at the arrow bonus question in my last post on page 2? I'll offer another prestigious ATTABOY! incentive award if you can come up with the correct answer! :)

Very good James, you're partially correct, but the judges are looking for a more specific answer. We'll give you an ATTA for now, the BOY! will be added when you or somebody else can produce the totally correct answer. :corn:

The arrow on the rib inscription of PH 410
That's a good effort Rich, but unfortunately not the answer the judges are looking for. With Parkers, we know never to say never, so unless you can show us a pic of the rib inscription of the arrow on a PH 410 that's similar to the arrow in my pic, the judges decision stands. Dig deeper.

I believe that is the arrow for the rib inscription on a Parker special steel barrel.

Unfortunately Jeff that, too; is not the answer the judges are looking for. Unless you can show us a pic of a Parker Special Steel rib inscription arrow that's similar to the arrow in my pic the judges decision stands.

Here's a strong hint that should lead to the answer the judges are looking for: Think Grade.
