Well it has been an interesting library acquisition month for me. I picked up a copy of Rutledge's Carolina Christmas, as well as a copy of Buckingham's Ole Miss. Still looking for a copy of Rutledge's American Hunter as it comes highly recommended, but I finally found one of these babies that was reasonably priced.

Looking forward to reading it over the holidays. I know there is some issue with the publisher and all that, but for some reason most of these run about the same price as the Parker Story.

A couple of good books there Bill!

We're huge Rutledge fans. Turns out my Father-in-law was a student of AR at Mercersburg Academy and since there was family turmoil, AR took him under his wing and mentored him. They didn't hunt at all, but AR took him to pick arrowheads and to bird watch. We have some signed books and a pencil sketch done by AR and signed by him. Very cool stuff.

Most are probably aware, but Jim Casada sells many AR books as well as many other titles. Some are pricey but some are very reasonable. Just bought an autographed copy of "A Southern Sportsman" edited by Ben Moise, forward by Jim Casada. Book is about the life and times of Henry Davis. Talks about his famous W.W. Greener shotgun which is currently being restored by a gunsmith in my area. Jim's website site is Jim Casada Outdoors.

I'm glad you were able to find what you wanted with Jim. He is a great guy. We talk often. Getting ready to buy a trout fishing book from Jim for my youngest son who just made trout fishing in upstate SC his number one hobby.
