Oh Hell no:eek: The wife one year went and put santa hats on the animals and lights on a Caribou's antlers. I took them all down as it made them look ridiculous.

Nice buck Dean, from the north east? I bet a Ruger #1 270 did the work.

I think I have that same Bullfight Poster from the early 60's from Barcelona Spain when I was in Uncle Sam's care. I was stationed in Poitiers France as a teenager.

This one is from Malaga on the Costa del Sol from either 1965 or 1966.

Nope; display only, sadly. I'll check to see if I have saved any of my brass. I don't shoot it much, but when I do I'd be happy to send the brass your way as I don't reload it.

Thanks I would appreciate that. It's a great caliber for deer just as many of the old one are/were. The 257R and 300 Savage are two more that sadly have fallen out of favor. Our younger hunters seem to think they need a 300 Ultra mag to kill a deer:eek:

Can't 22/250 brass be readily re-engineered to 250/3000?

Yes you can fire form it to 250 Savage. The Savage was the parent case for the then wildcat 22-250.

Look at the fuss the animal rights people razed over Ceasel and Dean shoots Rudolf. I had a friend who"s wife used to hang her under garments from the mounts on his walls. He was a little inbarist. I thought it was amusing.

I occasionally see a few boxes of 300 Savage but seems like I rarely see any .250-3000. Most sellers seem to either know about them and try to get a premium price, or sell them cheap since they rarely get asked about them. I sure try to buy 'em when I find the latter!

I have a 250/3000 also a Pre64 M70 and was lucky to find 50 new cases and a friend who gave me about 60 more. I'm set for a very long time for this one. It's another great caliber that has fallen out of favor with the masses.
