If I were to get only one book on Parker shotguns, which would it be?

If you are on restriction at home, try Ed Muderlak's "Shooting Flying, the American Experience". It is a fine read and well illustrated.

In my opinion, Ed's "Parker Guns: old reliable" is the best read in dealing alecifically with Parkers guns. But second to The Parker Story. It would be a good option of one os wanting to spend $30 on a book instead of $150+.

As is Ed Muderlak's Parker Guns, The Old Reliable a very good resource. None, though, are as complete as The Parker Story.

However, if one is really serious about learning all there is in print on Parker shotguns - money shouldn't be an object... get them all and immerse one's self in Parkerdom.
They all are great resources.

The Parker Story is what you want. If you join the Double Gun Journal, Dan Cote has some for about $200. It is money well spent

I'm not even a Parker collector but I bought The Parker Story anyway. It's such a great product that I wanted it in my library.
