If the back end comes out like the barrels, it will be a gun to be proud of, a no excuses Parker. Pretty damascus is always special. Congratulations.

Scott, I'm new to parker forum, are you the person taking the pics. I confused, thought is was Bruce Day, but appreciate your reply. Let me know your part on the thread about the damascus pics. Happened to be browsing on Parker awhile back and saw the tales of Dale thread about the damascus so I went back again and saw my Lefever barrels.

The set of barrels are from about 1888, bores are super. Picked up Parker GH a week ago with a fantastic set of damascus, inside and out. All orginal 16ga, from about 1903.

Richard, this means you will have to join the PGCA. A damascus G 16 and an A grade Lefever, the next step will be a Parker to match the Lefever grade.

Lefevers are nice guns, someday I'll find the right mid grade Lefever in 16ga..

Bruce, I was not quit clear on that post. The GH was a Parker 16 ga damascus 1903. Have a F grade 16 damascus, 1892, which is the grade equivelant of the GH Parke. Would be nice to afford and find a AH Parker 16ga.

Those darn A grade Lefever barrels keep sneaking in here. Just about done.
Dale and the barrels.

Taken today during Tom Carter's visit.

back to top for damascus interest

A reminder to people that in the lower grade guns, the barrels sometimes have mismatched patterns and usually more starts and stops.

Although the high grade guns are supposed to have fine pattern damascus, its not always. Sometimes in G's you will get barrels with fine pattern damascus.
