Is any one aware of Parker producing a 20 gauge VH gun with an English stock? It also has a second white bead. Thanks

i would be amazed if there were not many of them made
PS- Just opened the Serialization book to a random page- there were 3 20ga straight stocks on that one page- two were V grades
totally aside to your question- right under a straight 20 was a straight 10 with 34 inch tubes- like to see that one :corn:

Good! I bought a very nice one a couple of years ago and have always wondered if the seller was being truthful about it coming from the factory that way. Has excellent case colors and is a great little grouse/woodcock gun. Thanks

When you say it is not in the book, what does that mean? What does one do in regards to a research letter? Thanks

If you go to the home page link- "PGCA Home" in the upper left of this page- click on that and on the left there is a lst of link- go to the research letter link and follow the instructions

Here's a cost savings hint or a plug as may decide. You will find it is cheaper to join the PGCA for a year and buy one letter rather than purchase a letter as a non-member. I just ordered another letter a couple nights ago. It is my third letter for a Parker.

Seems to me someone this forum stated that about 10% of Parkers were made with straight stocks. That seems about right. A 20 ga V with a straight stock is a beautiful thing. I have one with 32" barrels and it looks sublime.

You are correct Jay. A few years back at the Southern, a well know Parker historian spied my assortment of V grade straight grip guns in my vehicle. He stated that a straight grip is fairly rare in the lower V grade and the percentages go up with the higher grades but it's right around 10 percent.
