Oops... That should read Fratelli Varriale...

The owner of this wonderful gun, whom I met on Sunday at the Andover Sportsmens Club, knows very little about it and would like to learn all he can about it.

It is a 12 bore with Belgian 30 inch fluid steel barrels.

Anyone with information on it please post it here.

Double, triple, or quadruple-click for full enlargement of pictures.

Thanks, Dean

nice looking gun- the action is also Belgium proofed

so - made in Belgium - finished/engraved in Naples?

but- curious -wouldn't a gun imported in the white and finished in Italy also have Italian proofs?

interesting- a bing search found a Sporting goods store in Naples

http://www.yelp.com/biz/f-lli-varriale-napoli

and less likely - an auto shop on facebook

LLH was a Belgian barrel maker whose barrels were impoted into the US in the late 1800s early 1900s. I cannot remember the name but I once owned a 20 gauge Baker sidelock that had LLH tubes.
