What was the consensus of opinion on the Parker/Fox tent being placed where it was. Interested in hearing from those of you who did all the hard work setting up and manning the tent, such as Dave Suponski, Dean Romig, Chuck Bishop, Larry Frey, etc for Parker and Steve Cambria, Frank Sebro, Paul Plunkett, Mike Koneski, etc for Fox--if I left out any names, please excuse me, and great thanks are due to these guys for all the work they do while we were out having fun.
I thought it worked out good, it certainly had you in a "high" traffic area where everyone had to pass . On the down side you probably needed to wear hearing protection all the time, what with the BoWhoop, long range competition , and challenge shoot.

Harold, we are pretty much decided to move the tent to the other side of the road for next year for obvious reasons. But overall I think it was great to put both groups together

Yeah, I think that makes alot of sense. I should probably volunteer to help out next year.

Thanks Harold but I can't take any of the credit for the great job the others mentioned on your initial post did to make this event happen.

I had very positive feedback from Fox and Parker guys. Lots of traffic and the right location for us to be for the BW/WCL Cups and the FPC event. Gunfire wasn't really bad at all in the tent. As Dave said, we'll most likely be across the cart path next year, which will still make it easy to coordinate all the side events and the two collectors associations.

The move across the cart path is smart; might want to think about getting a bigger tent to be able to display more guns, also one with sides on it. Those of us who have been attending the NE since Ernie started it will no doubt remember some of the wild windy and wet weather we've had in the past!
And lest we forget, thanks to The Road Warrior for the great cheese and Porter!!!

I agree, on moving the tent. The noise from being close to Bo Woop was my initial concern but it wasn't too bad. Moving across from the road would be ideal.

Now Noreen- AKA Researcher. [Dave sorry to talk about you in the third person].
He is another one.
If not for these events I would never get to meet the person behind the informative posts and incredible tid-bits of information he shares.
I can't stress enough the value of coming to these events in person.
