The boys over at wildwood have this gun for sale as a DH, but when looking at it on the floor plate and the sideplates, the engraving from what I can tell looks like a GH more then a DH.

It definitely looks to have birds on the sides and I don't see the scroll work engraving that is on a D.

Looks to be a GH. Must be a type-o

It's a GH. And a restocked one at that. Cheek panels are way to defined. And a proper guard was not used when converted to a straight grip.

Yeah they said the stock wasn't original. But they did say it was a DH.

Wasn't planning on buying, just surprised to see misidentified.

There are a lot of Trojans out there with Vulcan Steel barrels and visa versa. Also a lot of "E" labeled guns with extractors.

I rather suspect it's a typo, as Craig and Dick have been around for a long time, and certainly know Parkers. I'm sure if they thought it was a grade 3, they would have priced it as a grade 3.

That is why it surprised me. They are generally spoke of as being knowledgeable.

I figured the price was because they said it is a non parker stock. If it is a GH with an aftermarket stock I would expect it to be under 1000.

Yeah, the're nice guys. I haven't seen a gun on their website for 15 years that I had interest in. The guns are bad and the prices are worse. However, we have to remember to buy the gun not the dealer.

The first time I walked into their shop there was a little Parker leaning in a corner with a sold tag on it. I continued on to the racks of guns to find something with a recessed hinge pin that interested me. They had about twenty or so Parkers but none them really interested me. As I moved back up to the front of the shop I looked around the corner at the little Parker that had caught my eye when I came in. I asked if I could examine it... Craig said, "Sure, go ahead."

I picked it up and that's when my eyes bugged out of my head... It was a 28 gauge DHE with 28" barrels, SPFE, SG, SSBP, Titanic Steel, about 60% CC, and was in very nice original condition. They hadn't taken the price tag off the gun yet and I remember reading $22,000 on it. I think that price was quite reasonable for what the gun was.

Well hopefully the trojan I ordered from them arrives tomorrow. It looked good online and I talked them down a hair.
