Looked at a nice GH 12 GA today. What do you guys think? And also what would be a reasonable price to offer?

Hard to tell from those pictures. What does the seller want for it?

Looks like you found a beauty? If it's original (which it looks to be), I would guess you would see it retail around $4500. A deal between buddies may be closer to $3k:corn:

Barrel length?

Pistol grip or straight?

Color pictures of more of the gun, the stock, the forend, the barrel flats... would be more helpful than those yellow toned pictures.

The gun has 28 inch barrels with pistol grip stock.

It sure looks like pretty high original condition from where I sit.

But it almost looks like the checkering is too nice and sharp in contrast to the case color worn off the latch... or is that just light reflection on the latch?

This is an example of true color pictures being necessary for a proper assessment of condition.

The engraving still looks very nice, and the Damascus barrels are beautiful--I am going to assume the Damascus has been redone. If the stock is as nice as the rest of the pictures, it is a real beauty--far nicer than my GH 16 . Price/worth, would have to look at all the gun broker sites to find similar guns. With a few more pics, there are a lot of knowledgable folks here who I hope would give you some workable numbers--good luck and let us know if you end up with it.

As dean suggested, I suspect a checkering point up. And maybe a barrel refinishing. But the pictures are not of good quality.

I can tell that the gun does have high amount of original case left on the frame.
