I bet those were the guys that stole an LC Smith or two last year. Hope they lock 'em up and throw away the key.

Kelly Bostian used to write for, I think, the Anchorage paper. Glad they caught them. Stole a 28ga Parker?? That's some serious theft....

I also wonder how long thay have been doing this.

Several years ago we had a superposed stolen from our tables first thing in the morning before the public was let in. I wonder???

Every gun show should have cameras, This kind of stuff has been going on all over the country at gun shows, vendors stealing from vendors damn thats as low as it gets, I have been fortunate in displaying Parkers, not anything stolen yet! Gary

Sorry, but I can't resist pointing out a serendipitous irony in this behavior.

(With apologies to all the vendors I know of course…)

Stealing a 28 ga Parker would be close to a capital offense.

Gee, if they were ripping off their fellow vendors, I wonder what kind of deals the buyers got from these clowns.

That's how they became such good vendors - they stole from the first guy then passed the savings on to you!

Think about this. A guy, 78 years old, probably a lifetime career criminal, probably a clean criminal record. What lives these guys must have lived, stealing from their friends, their enemies, their families. They should be proud.

Are any of them members of here?

Last year at the Tulsa show 2 Henry rifles valued at $65,000 each were stolen. There is no telling how much has been taken over the last 20 years these guys have been going to Tulsa.Everything that has been stolen has been really high end.I guess they figured that if you can't afford to buy it,it's OK to steal it.

I hope the 4473 files from these guys are examined. I also hope their homes are searched for guns they were afraid to put on the market. To answer a poster's question, it seems like none of the three were PGCA members.

Hopefully, their homes have already been searched. What will be interesting to see is if any other arrests are made on this case and who else might be implicated in the plot

At their age, even 5 years could turn out to be a life sentence. Was it worth it to these guys?

I don't know if these guys are licensed dealers. If they are I don't think they would log in guns they robbed.

Has anyone herd any other info on this? Were they working together?

I was at the Tulsa show this past weekend when this happened.Apparently the man from Iowa who stole the Parker and Dakota was working alone. The other 2 were working together. They followed the one that picked up the derringer to the other guys table. They got the 2nd guy for holding stolen merchandise.

The sad thing is that of all the "communities" out there, I have always held the gun community in the highest regard.
I know looks are deceiving, but these old guys look like they should be trusted fathers, grandfathers, etc. I have developed friendships with gun people, that I met straight off the internet. Have showed treasured guns, gone hunting with, and have developed long friendships, based mostly on them being from the fine gun community.
This is so utterly shameful that I really don't have words for it.
God help these fools!
