So if it cost me $20 with shipping then I didn't over pay.

Craig,
I may be wrong, but the way I heard it about buying Parkers and goodies is that you never over pay or pay TOO much, what you bought was just a little early. I have several like that and paid about the same several years ago.

Jack is absolutely correct. Sometimes it takes longer. Like that pretty CHE with cut barrels that I bought in 1986. Long before the Book was available.
I think I just turned the corner on it. But I have loved it all the time.

I would "assume" the 10 and 12 gauge shells would be priced about the same .
How much more are the same thing in 8 , 16 and 20 ?
Haven't seen any but I'd like an idea what a fair market value was if I can buy any at a later date .

If what I read in the 2 volume set is correct this case was actually made by Union Metallic Cartridge Company for Parker . correct ?

I bought a nice 10 Gauge ,Primed at the Pittsburgh Gun Collectors Show a couple of years ago with very nice head stamping and paid
$30.00 for it ,never regretted buying it but I would have rather gone $20.00 ,Good Buy ! I edited this as I went and got the Casing and it is Head Stamped ,just like Craig's but it says West Meriden Ct. ,What's up with that does any one know ?

West Meriden is a not un-common head stamp but I don't know why or where that is.
Dave Suponski lives west of Meriden so maybe he knows!! He knows stuff like that.
